Ewing D. Ikard II, was born July 30, 1984 to the parents of Ewing Ikard Sr and Rose Ikard and was raised on the Southside of Chicago, IL. Education included Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep Academy, Westwood College, Devry University and Liberty University where he obtained his Master’s of Human Service and currently works full time at the University of Chicago Medicine since 2004.
At the age of 23, on June 26, 2008, he started his life long journey of marriage with his soulmate Shawnie. The couple have three dynamic and wonderful children together Jaydah, Ewing III, and Eli. These four individuals are the driving force behind all that he does.
In 2008, Ewing, joined Powerhouse-Chicago (aka Prayer and Faith Outreach Ministries) under the leadership of senior pastor, Archbishop William Hudson III. This connection by God set Ewing on his path that has lead him to the person you see today. As a spiritual father, Archbishop William Hudson III, saw the potential in Ewing that he did not see in himself and began to pull and invest in him. A year later, Ewing became an Adjutant to Archbishop Hudson and in 2010 he served as the leader of that Adjutant ministry. It is through the sonship that Ewing received the impartation of servitude that he now expounds on today.
In 2016, God placed on Ewing’s heart to write a book and finally after years of discouragement, lack of confidence, and wondering if he was worthy to step out on that platform, he completed the project. Thanks to the prayers of his family and his leader that particular vision came to life on July 28, 2018 when he released his debut book entitled “The Heart of a True Servant”. This book will transform the way you serve by challenging, evaluating, and equipping you to serve 10x’s better.
Ewing coaches and trains ministry leaders and the leadership support teams on the importance of serving and pushing the vision of the Leader effectively, efficiently, and authentically. By challenging, evaluating, and equipping them with applicable concepts to move them into a season of serving 10x's better. Ministries in the Chicagoland area, Indiana, and New York have been impacted by this training.
Serving is a passion and the “how” and “why” must be authentic and effective.
